Rich People and Backward Thinking

I think some examples the come from the book would be how a couple think they are better and like to show off their things. Like when the guy tells nick about how nice his place is. Thats what i think thats how most r8ch people act because they try to show off what they have knowing that the other poeple dont have the money to get those things too.

 What stood put to me the most of this reading was how he went to his friends how but only to meet new people or get to see their lifestyle but the people turned put to ve weird. Also something that stood out was how Daisy was talking about many things and she decided to bring up her baby talk about her  like if she didnt remember she about her. I think this is really messed up because a mother shouldn't just talk about her child just because she remembered after all the talking she was doing.

Nick graduated from New Heaven in the year 1915.  He went east to learn about the bond business. He rented a house with another guy for 80$ a month until his roomate left to washington. He then stayed alone.

HOPEPUNK

Hopepunk is a new genre that was created because of the pop culture. The pop culture was becoming more brighter and lots of people are talking about it. Its also based on utopian fiction which makes the people imagine a perfect world or society. The authors think this is important because it helps the audience imagine something they think is perfect and then make them try their best to make it that way or change things that make the world a better place.

20th Century Writing Styles

Genre is a type of art, literature or music characterized by a specific form or content. You could put it as doing it as one of my favorites. 

The difference between naturalism, realism, and modernism would be that a naturalist charcter could not control their destinies or the choices they make. While a realism was accpunted for the choices he makes which changes everything because their actions were self-determined. Modernism started after world war 1 had ended because then new things started which was freedom and social equality which changed everything. People started writing about the confusion of the"new world".

The link that I chose from the article on John Steinbeck was "how we humanize each other". I choose to click only this link because I thought it seemed interesting and that made me focus only on that article. Something I learned from this link was that we are all humans and we should treat each other with respect and not be judging each other.

How To Get To Graceland

My experience sort of sligns with the Paul Simon video. I say this because i grew up listening to music every morning because my brothers would put music everytime they would get ready for school. This got me really into music so i decide to download the ones i liked the mostvand listen to them all the time. To this day i still enjoy listening to the same type of music and maybe in the future i might make my own song and have someone sing it!! I compare to the video because paul got interested in a type of music because he would always listen to a red caset recording with music in it and so will i but i would hear the music because of my brothers.
