Rich People and Backward Thinking

I think some examples the come from the book would be how a couple think they are better and like to show off their things. Like when the guy tells nick about how nice his place is. Thats what i think thats how most r8ch people act because they try to show off what they have knowing that the other poeple dont have the money to get those things too.
