Emerson main idea was mostly about being your self and making your own decisions to have a future that you want. There are lots of quotes in the Emerson essay which talk about how every man has the ability to decide how he wants his future to be. That any man or women can achieve greatness as long as they try their best.

Today's Emerson Reading
In paragraph 2-3 it he talks about how the man can define his own greatness. Also that when a man does what he loves or he accomplishes something he will feel proud and happy of himself for accomplishing his goal.
Some of the word I didnt understand were:
1. Envy- a feeling of discontented or resentful longing aroused by someone else's possessions, qualities, or luck.
2. Kernal- a softer, usually edible part of a nut, seed, fruit stones contained within it's hard shell.

Same words different people
I found out that my friend and I have different understandings of the vocab word but sometimes the same. One thing was that the I looked at the word virus like if it was a disease that people get that make them sick. One the other hand my friend thought of a virus that infects a computer. One vocab word that we thought of the same was the word viral. We both thought that this was like a video or image that was so popular that it was posted all around the world.
