Fahrenheit 451 essay

                                                                  "Fahrenheit 451"

Ever heard of a firefighter that burns books?! Me neither until I read a book called " Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. This book is filled with dynamic characters but I believe the best described character is Montag. Montag is a fireman who burns books instead of preventing fires because it is against the law to have books. Throughout the book Montag realizes that he's not happy with what he does so he decides to read books. Montag is a dynamic character and I'm going to show you how he went from burning books to end up trying to save them.
One good moment that shows why Montag is a dynamic character is when he comes home from work and notices that he's not happy with what he does. In the book it shows how he decides to steal a book to read it and he becomes very interested in it. I think this is a great example because he goes from burning the books to end up being curious of what they are about so he decides to do something illegal in order for him to get a book. In the next paragraph I will tell you how he ends up very interested in books and wants other people to read them too.
Montag goes crazy for books and he cant stop reading them. A part in the book that describes how Montag stopped caring about everything but books was when he decided to show all of his wife's friends a book and tried to convince them to read it. His wife's friends are not convinced so they remain to be a static character. This shows how Montag does not care about the consequences and wants to show the people that reading is a good thing in a good tone and it shouldn't be illegal to have them. In the next paragraph I will tell u about how Montag ends up going for someone and asking for help because he didn't want to return the book without finishing it.
Montag is figuring out little by little why the government doesn't want people to have books because it limits there knowledge. He doesn't get to finish a book and he has to return it but he thinks that there are important things in the book he still needs to read. In the book he decides to go looking for the one person he knows that can help and his name is Faber. He goes looking for Faber hoping that he would have a really good plan on how to make a copy of the book. This shows how Montag is wanting to keep reading books and wants to make copies of them so that he can keep them and read them as much as he can to get the most knowledge out of them as he can.
In conclusion Montag is a very smart and risk taking person. He decides to do lots of illegal things just because he believes that books are good for you and wants to prove that to the world. His decision to read a book changed his life forever. He started to enjoy reading books and wanted to read as many as he can. Montag was very brave because even though he knew that having a book was against the law he still had some kept in secret. So now you know about a firefighter that went from burning books to want to save them which is a very inspiring book. I suggest you read the book yourself to understand the true feeling of what the author of the book is trying to tell you.
